We have all heard someone use a person’s vibe to describe them. That guy has a negative vibe’. Perhaps you have experienced it yourself. You spend 2 or 3 minutes talking to someone and there is something about them that gives you a bad feeling. It is hard to describe but if you have experienced it, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Similarly, you meet someone for the first time and they are so bright, jolly and happy. They leave you feeling strangely uplifted and they have an extemely positive vibration.

What exactly is a person’s vibration?

Quantum physics teaches us that everything under the sun is made of pure energy. This energy is in constant movement, oscillating and producing vibrations of varying speeds.

We, along with all living beings have specific energies moving at fast or slow rates. This pace is what gives us our individual vibrational energy.

Vibrational Frequency

Your vibrational frequency emanates from the totality of your emotions, thoughts and consciousness. Like radio waves which are heard but cannot be seen, our vibrational frequency is continually being broadcast into the universe.

Positive energy in a person causes them to have a higher frequency. This fills people with joy, love, compassion and kindness. A high frequency and vibration makes you feel lighter and enthusiastic.

Negative energy causes people to have a lower frequency. Emotions associated with low frequency are anger, bitterness, anxiety, jealousy, pessimism and guilt. The emotions keep you feeling heavy hearted and dull.

Spend time with positive people

Take time to feel the vibes coming from the people you spend time with. If you find that your friends are generally negative people, it is time to make new friends. It is said that you subconsciously become the sum of the 5 people you spend most time with. Are the people around you raising your vibrational frequency or lowering it?

Again take time to note the physical feelings you experience when you are with these friends. Also take note of how you feel after spending a couple of hours with them. Do you feel empowered, joyful and uplifted?

Studies have shown that people who regularly devote some of their time to worthy causes to serve others are happier and more fulfilled than those who don’t. This joy and fulfillment also contributes to physical health so they are generally healthier people.

The best thing you could do when you are feeling like your life is terrible is stop by a homeless shelter, spiritual center or food bank. Help out for a couple of hours. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as it is in assistance to someone in need.

Why is this so uplifting? The simple act of shifting your focus from yourself and your problems to assist another person moves you into greater alignment with the universe’s natural flow and grace.

It is quite common for one to live in a cluttered house when they are going through a difficult phase. As long as the difficulties last, they never feel particularly bothered by the mess. As soon as they resolve their problems and their minds clear up, the clutter in their house suddenly feels unbearably appalling. They wonder how they loved in such clutter for so long.

Did you know that there is an immense amount of negativity thrown your way through the internet and social media? It wouldn’t kill you to be spend a day away from it all. In fact it would do you a lot of good.

Here is a challenge for you. Try spending a day without you cellphone and without switching on your computer or iPad. It may be difficult at first but I guarantee you it will give you great freedom. You will feel lighter and more mentally energized.

If you can’t do it for an entire day, schedule technology break times in your day. Set aside 2 hours or so when you don’t touch your phone or computer and don’t turn on the television.

How to Tell When Your Vibration Is Rising

After putting all or some of these techniques into practice, how do you know it is working? What should you expect to feel? Here are some signs that you are on the right track?

Clarity: When your vibrational frequency is low, not only do you feel low, you also feel confused, scattered and mentally unsettled. It is difficult to make even the most basic decisions. Decisions you ordinarily make in an instant could take you weeks to make.
